Getting to know Beti Sekulovski

Beti Sekulovski is a highly respected tennis coach and former professional player and commentator. Renowned for her contributions to the development of high-performance athletes. With a career spanning decades in both playing and coaching, she has become a leading figure in the global tennis community, helping shape the next generation of elite players.

Born in Australia, Beti Sekulovski developed a passion for tennis from an early age. She honed her skills on the national circuit before breaking into the professional tour, where she competed against some of the world's best players. Her experience on the WTA tour provided her with invaluable insights into the sport's mental and physical demands, shaping her coaching philosophy today.

After retiring from professional play, Sekulovski transitioned seamlessly into coaching, dedicating herself to nurturing emerging tennis talent. Spent 5 years as the Tennis Australia National Academy Coach in the girls 15-18 years of age pathway, where she went on to develop and nurture some of Australia's biggest talents. Beti was also the High-Performance Director at Champion Academy, an elite training centre that develops world-class players. Her hands-on approach, combined with a deep understanding of technical skills, mental toughness, and game strategy, has helped numerous athletes achieve success on both national and international stages.

Beti featured in the 2022 Australian Open coaches conference, sharing her insights with some of the best in the business. In 2025 Beti completed a Diploma in Positive Psychology and Wellbeing where she looks to integrate this into her overall approach.

Outside of coaching Beti is a regular feature in commentary at the Australian Open, National and ITF Pro Events. Beti is also the co Host of the Podcast Down the Line TV and the co host of The First Serve's Podcast The Junior Journey.
